Hello and welcome
Art, in one form or another, has been a part of my life since before I can remember. Using my imagination came easily in play, and in elementary school I was referred to as a "day dreamer". In adolescence, it was a form of entertainment; but, in my early married years, I recognized the yearn for expressing myself through Art.
One day I found myself aching to do something creative. All my art supplies were still at my parents home. To satisfy this "urge", I gathered up all my spices in the kitchen and some glue. A cardboard shirt box was my palette. Mixing the collage of dried herbs and spices for color combinations proved to be an afternoon project. The end result was a squirrel gazing at a bumble bee with pumpkin seed wings. I was happy to release the pent up creativity but unaware of the value of it's results. My mother did and to this day, it hangs framed on her dining room wall. It is a reminder to me that all things created are of value in different ways and that materials to design or create can be found with a little imagination and even less expense. If one is willing, there is always a way.
You, as an individual, are of great value. Made meticulously in God's image. Allowing the Master to take you, his pallette, and all that is available to Him, He create in you a person well pleasing in His sight. This is God's great pleasure.
There are many facets to my being and I am still discovering new talents and abilities. I have learned many lessons in life and God has used the tools and skills that I love to teach me. You never know what you can do until you try. In this life I lead, I am the one most surprised.
Yes, I love what I do, and more importantly, I hope you like what you see. May it be a blessing to you. For you see, I love to get lost in inspiration. I get to spend lots of time surrounding myself with all things beautiful, namely Godly music; prayer; and fellowship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I recommend it for it is time well spent.
